Mavvrik, a platform that analyzes and optimizes cloud and AI spending to streamline financial operations, announced its rebrand and $6.2M in Seed funding. Formerly known as DigitalEx, Mavvrik helps businesses maximize savings and efficiency by providing real-time FinOps insights and cost optimization strategies. With its latest raise, the company is expanding its AI-driven capabilities to further empower organizations in managing cloud costs with precision. 

Abstract, an all-in-one platform for AI-enabled regulatory intelligence, announced its $4.8M seed rond. Founded to modernize how organizations track and engage with policy changes, Abstract provides AI-powered tools that help users navigate complex regulatory landscapes with ease. Sourcetable, an AI-powered spreadsheet and data analyst that will do your work for you, announced $4.3M in seed funding, led by Bee Partners with participation from Hugging Face CTO Julien Chaumond, GitHub co-founder Tom Preston-Werner, and MongoDB Distinguished Architect Roger Bamford. This innovative platform allows users to perform complex data analysis tasks—like building pivot tables or cleaning data—simply by using natural language commands, eliminating the need for advanced spreadsheet knowledge. Genia, a platform that generates optimal engineering drawings in construction within minutes via AI-powered generative design, announced its $3M pre-seed round. Its Structural Copilot technology enables engineers, developers, and architects to create physics-validated structural plans instantly, reducing project timelines and improving efficiency. With this funding, Genia aims to develop its AI-driven platform further, making structural design faster, more accurate, and cost-effective. 

Paul Bricault, Managing Director of Amplify, was recently featured in the LA Business Journal for his impactful work mentoring early-stage founders. Pryzm, an AI-powered platform to accelerate defense contract capture, was recently awarded a contract by the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) to streamline project management and reporting. Pryzm's software helps eliminate inefficiencies across large, complex government programs by enabling better visibility, faster decision-making, and more effective use of taxpayer dollars. This partnership with the DIU highlights Pryzm’s growing impact in modernizing how the U.S. government manages critical resources. We co-hosted our very first Let’s Talk Ops (LTO) event with our friends at Healthy Ventures, and it was a success! With engaging conversations and a fun axe-throwing competition, it was the perfect way to kick off community-building with LA’s incredible Operations and Platform leaders. Katie Dean, Amplify’s Director of Operations, is part of the LTO LA Events Subcommittee and plans to continue bringing the operations community together through creative activations and events. Amplify’s Managing Director, Paul Bricault, attended this year’s Upfront Summit, one of LA’s premier gatherings for investors, founders, and innovators. From inspiring talks to meaningful connections with industry leaders, it was a great reminder of the energy and talent driving the LA tech ecosystem.

In recent months, we’ve hosted several dinners to bring together people from the VC community, including one in Austin, as shown in the picture below. Our aim is to continue expanding our network and foster connections among industry professionals. We also held a special dinner for CTOs, led by Oded Noy, Managing Partner at Amplify, in partnership with CDW and Ryan Ries from Mission. During this event, we talked about a variety of interesting subjects related to AI. We're excited to keep connecting with the community through fun events! So, keep an eye out for more in the future!
